First time with your Fire TV?
- 1 Install Downloader from the Amazon Appstore on your Fire TV (search for it by name, it's free).
- 2 Your Fire TV needs to allow installing apps from outside the official store. Go to Settings → My Fire TV (or "Device & Software" if your Fire TV is built into the TV) → Developer options.
- 3 Don't see "Developer options"? Go into About, select your device name and press the remote's center button several times in a row (5-7) until a notice appears saying they've been enabled.
- 4 Inside Developer options, turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources" (older Fire OS) or "Install unknown apps" (newer Fire OS). On newer versions, open it and grant permission specifically to Downloader.
- 5 Open Downloader, type www.redarklay.com, tap "Install" in the menu and download the APK as explained on this page.
- 6 When it's done, Downloader will ask if you want to delete the downloaded APK — you can say yes, there's no need to keep it.
Menus can vary slightly depending on your device's model and Fire OS version.
